  Wow, I just realized that I haven't written anything in a while! Sorry about that! Makayla started school, and she's just a little hesitant about her new class. All her friends from last year are in there with her, but it's a new room, so I think that freaks her out a little. Her teachers did tell me that she is slowly starting to open up a little, so that's a good sign!!
  Along with Tumble Tikes, (which she did last year) I have signed her up for Ballet and Tap!! I am so excited! She has already had one class, and the teacher said she did great!! I am really hoping they have a recital of sorts... isn't that what all mothers of daughters hope for?!?!
  We survived Hurricane Ike, but lost power in the storm and didn't get it back for almost 3 days! My parents graciously let us stay with them and we have a great time! Makayla did not want to leave when our lights came back on!! Our house did not have any damage, thank goodness, but our neighbor ended up with a tree in their pool! :-(
  Well, that's about it for now! I will write more later!
